Built in 1864, Celebration Hall in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, is the ideal wedding and reception venue. This venue hosts events and celebrations of all types and has been renovated to retain its original historic charm. The venue’s focal point is the original Civil War-era bell, brought down from the building’s bell tower. Guests can view the bell, which serves as a great conversation starter.
Celebration Hall is the perfect location for a destination wedding due to the area’s many local activities, including golfing, fishing, parasailing, water parks, restaurants, and shopping.
Beach weddings are popular in this area, and public beach access is conveniently located just a mile away. This makes Celebration Hall the perfect place to use as a backup location in the case of rain or hosting the reception after a beautiful beach ceremony.
Celebration Hall is an elegant, unique venue suitable for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The hall was constructed in 1864 but was recently renovated and includes much of its original charm.
The hall’s main feature is its Civil War-era bell and the wrought iron staircase that takes guests to an upper mezzanine level with additional seating. The building also features charming light fixtures with Edison light bulbs and hand-scraped wood floors, giving the space its characteristic 19th-century ambiance.
This venue is a 3,7000-square-foot, climate-controlled building, and rentals include the use of the vast expanse of landscaped and lighted lawns outside. Celebration Hall can host ceremonies, receptions, or both. The venue can accommodate small weddings (50 or fewer people), midsize weddings (51 to 150 guests), or larger celebrations (more than 150 guests).
The reception must take place on the lawn for receptions of over 150 guests. The venue can bring tents for an extra fee, and the ceremony can also take place on the beach.
Couples may not utilize Celebration Hall as a getting-ready area on the day of the wedding. However, there is an onsite hotel where couples can book rooms for the wedding party to have a space to do hair and makeup and take pictures.
Celebration Hall can host a number of events, from bridal showers to engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, the ceremony, and receptions.
This stunning beach venue is gorgeous during the day and at night. There are a number of unique locations for wedding photo opportunities at Celebration Hall. The indoor spaces feature wood beam ceilings, elegant chandeliers, and large open spaces, perfect for reception photos. The exterior of the venue is beautiful, especially at night, lit up in blue and purple hues.
The bride’s getting-ready suite is a great place to take photos as she gets her hair and makeup done. This space features large mirrors, windows, comfortable seating, and elegant furnishings.
A wedding ceremony on the grass is another beautiful location for photos as the couple exchange vows. Manicured lawns, plenty of sunlight, and towering palm trees make the perfect backdrop for ceremony photos.
For couples that get married on the beach, photo opportunities are endless. White sand and sparkling blue water make a picturesque backdrop as the bride and groom exchange vows.
Couples who prefer to be married on the beach can host their ceremony right on the sand, only minutes away from Celebration Hall. After the ceremony, guests can take a short drive back to Celebration Hall for a reception. There is ample parking at the venue, which makes it convenient for guests.
The venue requires couples to use a wedding planner. All wedding planners must be approved by Celebration Hall and have the required insurance. Celebration Hall provides couples with a preferred vendor list to make planning easier. However, they are free to choose outside vendors as well. The venue must approve vendors not on the venue’s preferred list.
Celebration Hall provides 200 chairs and tables included in rental pricing to choose from. Couples must use outside vendors for outdoor rentals. When a couple reserves the venue, they sign a contract and pay a non-refundable deposit to secure their wedding date. Couples can confirm wedding dates through the hall’s property management team.
Set up can begin at 9 AM on the day of the event, and tear down must end by 11 PM. The venue allows a rehearsal the day before the event, with a two-hour time slot.
Couples who book the property for the ceremony and reception have up to 6 hours of event time (5 hours if reception-only, 2 hours if ceremony-only). Reception music must align with the county’s noise ordinance. The venue prohibits confetti, birdseed, and rice. Couples may choose to use sparklers.
For all weddings serving alcohol, a Walton County Deputy is required to be on site. The venue has a kitchen you can use for catering staging. Furthermore, there are a variety of wedding packages for couples to choose from. Alcohol may be provided through Carousel Liquors, or couples can choose to buy their own through their caterer.
There are over 100 free parking spaces available for couples and their guests. 30-A Inn & Suites may provide accommodations in an onsite boutique hotel with 36 rooms.
